Hello everyone,

I’m thrilled to welcome you to our new quarterly newsletter, Platinum Pulse, alongside our exciting new look for Platinum!

We’re moving into a new decade with a fresh look that encapsulates what sets us apart in the industry and reaffirms our goal since day one: to make mining easier.

Back in 2014, we noticed a common challenge facing mine operators – they were caught between big blasting companies that lacked personal service and smaller ones with limited capabilities. So, we took action and stepped in to fill the void.

We built a business which offers all your blasting needs, with Platinum service. This has been the driving force behind our growth, propelling us to become a leading blasting services provider to the Australian mining industry. And it’s just the beginning.

Our new branding captures the energy, reliability and “can-do” spirit we’re renowned for. It’s more than just a new look; it positions us for future growth as we continue to expand and diversify our business, so keep an eye out for its rollout across our sites in the coming weeks.

Particularly pleasing is that we have brought AME into the Platinum fold under our unified brand. Since we purchased the AME business in 2016 it has been an integral part of our development and success so the name change and rebranding to Platinum is formal recognition of this.

Importantly alongside our rebrand, we’ve also refreshed our Vision, Mission and Values, which are at the heart of our culture and guide us in fulfilling our promise to make mining easier. I encourage you to delve into the articles in this newsletter to learn more about them. I was excited to share and discuss these with our senior leaders last week at a special meeting in Brisbane, and you’ll have the chance to learn more from them directly and during Toolbox Talks.

Platinum Pulse will be your quarterly source of updates and insights into all things Platinum. In this edition, you’ll discover more about our brand and values refresh, hear about the exceptional efforts of one of our site teams in handling a challenging situation, and catch up on the latest news about our incredible colleagues.
