What a journey it’s been—from starting at zero to becoming an industry hero in just a decade. Celebrating this milestone with many of you last month, alongside our clients and suppliers, was truly special. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our achievements to date and, going by the energy in the room, look forward with confidence to the successes to come!

As our new branding becomes firmly embedded, it’s clear that our success over this past decade is all about who we are and how we operate. Our can-do attitude, team-player mindset, and a genuine care for each other and the environment set us apart and help us make mining easier for our clients.

With these values at our core, I’m excited to launch our annual Values Awards! This is our chance to shine a spotlight on colleagues who go above and beyond. Please check out the details in this newsletter and be sure to nominate those who really stand out. There will be some fantastic rewards up for grabs!

Last month, our senior people dived deep into Platinum’s values at our Leadership Workshop, exploring ways to better collaborate, serve our clients, and further improve the Platinum business. It was fantastic to see so many leaders come together to share ideas and develop their skills. Investing in our people is really important to us, and something we’ll be continuing to build on.

As we celebrate our past achievements, I’m also excited about the future. We’re making great strides with our diversification strategy, which focuses on expansion of services and products, increased commodity diversity, and further geographic expansion. Some current examples of this strategy in action include the successful initial move into quarry services which will be further enhanced with the upcoming build of specialised equipment; third-party emulsion sales and toll manufacture; and the WA infrastructure development now well underway. All these expanded capabilities will enable us to deliver even more value to our clients and greater opportunities to our people.

Thanks to all of you for the incredible dedication and enthusiasm that has brought us to our 10th milestone. I look forward to continuing working together on the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
