Until now, using additive diesel (the kind with cleaning agents designed to improve vehicle performance) in heavy ANFO blends posed a challenge. The detergents in these fuels could break down our emulsion, making it unsuitable for sites adopting newer, cleaner fuel types.

But as the industry continues to shift toward lower-emission and additive-based fuels, it was important to stay one step ahead – ensuring our emulsion products remain reliable under changing conditions.

The result is a more robust formulation that stays stable when blended with additive diesel, without compromising on performance. It means our clients can continue using their preferred fuel onsite, and it also eliminates the need for additional change management during mobilisation to confirm compatibility.
