I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and have come back refreshed and ready for the year ahead. As we kick off the new year, there’s only one way to open this foreword—and that’s by celebrating our Values Awards winners.

For a business of our size, the number of nominations, and the stories behind them, was genuinely inspiring. It showed just how much respect, teamwork and effort goes into what we do every day. And from that strong field, these colleagues truly shone: Jesse Boughton (Employee of the Year), Katrina McWilliams (Can-Do), Gemma Rout (Connect) and Olivia Scott (Care). A big congratulations and thank you once again to each of the well-deserved winners. Make sure you check out their stories in this edition.

Our presence at ISEE 2025 was another standout moment – our ninth year as Platinum Sponsor – and once again the team did an exceptional job representing Platinum. The booth was buzzing across all three days, with great conversations, strong interest in our latest video and valuable time spent reconnecting with long-standing partners as well as meeting new faces across the industry. It was a fantastic showcase of who we are, the capability we bring and the momentum we’re building.

The final quarter of 2025 also delivered some big wins that set us up strongly for this year. We secured three-year contract extensions at both Vulcan and Middlemount Mines – and extensions always feel extra special because they show we’re doing things right. They’re fantastic recognition of the reliability, responsiveness and commitment our crews bring to site every day. These wins, together with the contracts secured earlier in the year, have cemented our position as a major player in the Bowen Basin and given us real momentum heading into the new year.

Across all our sites, there’s been incredible work happening every day – from operational improvements to major project milestones, from problem-solving on the ground to strengthening relationships with our clients. All of it adds up, and all of it matters.

Thank you for everything you contributed in 2025. Your effort, attitude and teamwork continue to push us forward as a business and make Platinum the place it is. I’m excited about what lies ahead and confident in what we can achieve together this year.
