With over 30 years’ experience in leadership and finance, Cliff
has a proven track record in building service-led blasting companies
that deliver strong commercial results. Prior to Platinum, Cliff led the
transformation of Downer Blasting Services as its CEO. And now,
having played a pivotal role in founding Platinum, Cliff has successfully
steered it to become one of the largest blasting providers in the
Australian mining industry.

Bringing extensive experience from both commercial and mining roles, Fiona leads Platinum’s financial and operational strategy. She holds a Bachelor of Business, CPA qualifications, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

As a qualified Mining Engineer with over 25 years of industry experience, Ian is adept at aligning commercial realities with client needs. His expertise spans both open-cut and underground mining, as well as coal and metalliferous mining. Formerly with Downer Blasting Services, Ian played a key role in turning the business into a recognised explosives provider.

Shane brings a wealth of expertise as a seasoned mining engineer and operations manager. His proficiency extends to strategic business development, fiscal management, and fostering organic growth within dynamic start-up and rapidly evolving environments.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Peter excels in developing and managing HSET & Q strategies, ensuring compliance, and implementing risk management solutions. Prior to joining Platinum, Peter held senior management roles at Downer Blasting Services and Maxam, where he played a pivotal role in creating safe and environmentally responsible workplaces.
