Employee of the Year – Tim Vilela

When an extra hand is needed around the office, Tim Vilela is always the first to step up with a smile. His unwavering positivity, reliability, and team-first attitude have earned him the well-deserved title of Employee of the Year.

This year, Tim really stood out with his instrumental role in outsourcing our payroll function. Not only did he take on the responsibility of reviewing payroll every fortnight, but he also learned the ins and outs of the system from scratch, tackling each challenge with determination—while juggling his regular duties with ease.

Tim’s contributions didn’t stop there. When the office needed a makeover, he dove right in, clearing the mess, moving furniture, and creating a functional space for the team. He’s even been known to help out with wrapping Christmas presents! Congratulations and a huge thank you to Tim for going above and beyond and making Platinum a better place to work.

When you think of “Can-Do,” you likely picture someone who goes above and beyond, tackles challenges with enthusiasm, and takes immense pride in their work. That’s exactly what Anton embodies every day. Whether it’s working late, starting early, covering shifts, or putting the company’s needs ahead of his own, Anton consistently shows up with a positive attitude and a relentless drive to get things done. His pride in his workplace and the quality of the products the plant is producing, ensures that the delivery to site is always top-notch and on time.

Care Award – Wayne Dunn

Wayne is the kind of guy who’s always looking out for his crew. He’s always ready to step in and help out, no matter what needs doing, and he does it all with a smile. His ability to bring people together and solve problems in his own unique way has been a huge asset to Platinum. One of his standout moments? Transforming the reload and crib room into a space that’s not just functional but encourages team spirit and productivity. Wayne truly cares about making work a great place for everyone, and it’s this dedication that makes him such a key part of the team.
